How to use
Capture and copy visible web page regions with this Chrome extension. Browse local history and download JPG images or a ZIP.
Steps
- Download the extension ZIP from the release page, extract it, and keep the folder.
- Open chrome://extensions/, enable Developer mode, select Load unpacked, and choose the folder containing manifest.json.
- Refresh a regular web page, scroll to the target content, click the green floating button, and drag to select a visible region. Press Esc to cancel selection.
- After automatic copying, paste into a document or chat. To use Ctrl+Shift+C, enable the shortcut in the extension popup first; its letter can also be changed to A–Z.
- Use local history to preview, copy again, or return to the source page. Download one JPG or select screenshots for ZIP export. Download important screenshots as backups.
Supported formats
Copy screenshots as PNG. Download history images as JPG or a ZIP. Full-page stitching is not supported.
Files and privacy
Screenshots, page URLs, and titles stay in your browser and are never uploaded to this site. Delete history in batches; download backups before clearing storage. This website uses Google Analytics for visits.
Limitations
- Currently provides manual installation for desktop Chrome and runs on regular pages where extensions are allowed. Restricted pages such as browser internal pages may not show the floating button or permit capture.
- Captures only a selected region in the current viewport, without automatic scrolling or full-page stitching. Scroll to the desired content before capture.
- The shortcut is disabled by default. Once enabled it uses Ctrl+Shift+letter, and does not trigger inside inputs, textareas, or editable content.
- Automatic copying depends on browser clipboard permission and the page environment. Check permissions and retry if copying fails; screenshots already in history can also be copied again or downloaded.
- History stays only in the current browser. Clearing extension storage or uninstalling the extension may remove records; cloud sync is not provided.
Frequently asked questions
Can it capture a long web page?
Automatic scrolling and full-page stitching are not supported. Scroll the target content into the current viewport, then drag to select a region.
Why does the shortcut do nothing?
The shortcut is disabled by default; enable it in the extension popup first. The default combination is Ctrl+Shift+C, with a configurable letter from A–Z. It does not trigger inside inputs, textareas, or editable content.
How do I download screenshots in a batch?
Open local history, select the screenshots, and export a ZIP. Images inside the archive are JPG. A single screenshot can also be downloaded directly from its preview.
Are screenshots uploaded?
They are not uploaded to a project server. The extension stores screenshots and history in the current browser. Download anything you need before clearing storage or uninstalling.
