How to use
Adjust image quality and dimensions in batches, compare previews, then download images or a ZIP. Files are processed locally in your browser.
Steps
- Click to choose images, or drag one or more images into the workspace.
- Choose high, medium, or low image quality. Keep the original dimensions or limit the longest edge to 1920, 1280, or 800 pixels.
- Start compression to process all images, or compress them individually in the list. After changing settings, compress the affected images again.
- Open the comparison preview to check detail and file size, then download an individual image or all results.
Supported formats
Common input formats are JPG, PNG, and WebP. Compression uses each input image; the actual output format depends on the result. Multiple results can be downloaded as a ZIP.
Files and privacy
Images are read, processed, and packaged locally in your browser. They are never uploaded to the server.
Limitations
- Each source image must be no larger than 20 MB. Large images and batch processing still use device memory. Keep the page open during processing.
- Changing quality or reducing dimensions may change image detail. Compression is not guaranteed to be lossless or to make every file smaller.
- Results remove EXIF metadata. Keep the original file if you need its camera or capture information.
Frequently asked questions
Will every compressed image be smaller?
No. Results depend on the original encoding, dimensions, and selected quality. Images that are already compressed may change very little or even become larger. The list shows the actual file size; compare before downloading.
How can I preserve image clarity?
Start with high quality and the original dimensions, then check the comparison preview. To reduce the size further, lower the quality or limit the longest edge. Keep your original image so you can process it again.
Can I choose a different output format?
This page adjusts image quality and dimensions and has no output format selector. Use Image Converter to convert between JPG, PNG, and WebP.
