PPTX to Image
Convert PPTX slides to JPG or PNG locally. Preview a range and download images or ZIP files. Fonts and complex layouts may differ.
How to use
Convert PPTX slides to JPG or PNG locally. Preview a range and download images or ZIP files. Fonts and complex layouts may differ.
Steps
- Choose or drop one PPTX file. Save legacy PPT files as .pptx in presentation software first.
- The first 50 slides are selected by default, with 10 previews at a time. Apply a new range or select all slides.
- Choose JPG or PNG and 150 or 300 DPI. Preview the fonts and layout.
- Select Start conversion. Canceling keeps completed slides; you can continue or retry failures.
- Select results and download one slide, selected images, or a ZIP. Download each ZIP batch before leaving.
Supported formats
Convert .pptx to JPG or PNG at 150 or 300 DPI. Download one slide, selected images, or a ZIP. Convert legacy .ppt files to .pptx first.
Files and privacy
Files stay in your browser and external document resources are not loaded. Replacing or clearing files, or leaving the tool, clears the task cache. Google Analytics records site visits, not file contents.
Limitations
- Each source file is limited to 30 MB and must be .pptx. Legacy .ppt, damaged files, and documents without readable slides cannot be converted directly.
- Only static slides are converted. Animation, transitions, audio, and video playback are not preserved, and external images, fonts, or other network resources in the document are not loaded.
- Browser rendering may differ from PowerPoint in fonts, layout, charts, or complex effects. Unusable embedded fonts fall back to other fonts. Preview first and check important content slide by slide.
- Output is limited to 4096 pixels per edge and 12 million pixels total. Large slides may be scaled down even when 300 DPI is selected.
- ZIP batches split at up to 50 slides or 64 MB of image data. A single image exceeding the batch size threshold forms its own batch. Download each ZIP separately.
- Large files, many slides, and high resolution use device memory, time, and local cache; keep the page open. Changing the range, format, or resolution clears existing conversion results and requires conversion again.
- Exporting individual images may require browser permission for multiple downloads. If downloads are restricted on a phone or in an embedded browser, use the system browser. Files usually save to Downloads or Files.
Frequently asked questions
Why can I not open a PPT file?
Only .pptx is supported. Use PowerPoint or other presentation software to save a legacy .ppt as .pptx, then choose the new file.
Why do fonts or layout differ from PowerPoint?
Slides are rendered by the browser. Some embedded fonts may be unusable, and complex content may have compatibility differences. External document resources are not loaded, and animations or audiovisual playback are not exported. Preview and check the results first.
Is 50 slides the total slide limit?
No. The first 50 slides are only the initial range. Change the start and end slide numbers or select all slides. Previews show 10 slides at a time, and conversion processes only the currently applied range.
Does high resolution guarantee 300 DPI output dimensions?
No. Output remains limited to 4096 pixels per edge and 12 million pixels total, scaling down proportionally when necessary. Check the actual pixel dimensions in the results.
Can I export after cancelling?
You can export completed, selected slides, continue unfinished slides, or retry failures. A cancelled ZIP packaging task can be downloaded again. Changing the range or export settings clears previous results.
