Pixel Space 1.0.3 release notes

Electronic Music Generator expands to ten styles, adds per-style previews and MP3 downloads, and fixes the duration cap for fast styles.

The Electronic Music Generator gets a major expansion: four new styles and an audition button on every style card.

Ten styles

Alongside Synthwave, Lo-fi, Techno, House, Ambient, and Chiptune, you can now choose:

  • Trance: a 138 BPM rolling bass, wide Super Saw chords, and an uplifting melody.
  • Drum & Bass: a 174 BPM chopped breakbeat with deep sub bass.
  • Phonk: 140 BPM gliding 808s, half-time drums, and cowbell hooks.
  • Cinematic / Epic: beatless string beds, low impacts, and a repeating motif.

Audition before generating

Each style card now has a play button. It renders an 8–10 second clip from the main section on demand, not the full track. Clips are cached per style, so replaying is instant. Style previews and full tracks pause each other so they never play at the same time.

Duration cap fixed

An internal 128-bar limit previously stopped fast styles from reaching 300 seconds. The limit is now 256 bars, so even 180 BPM tracks can reach the full five minutes. Durations are still aligned to complete bars.

MP3 downloads

Full tracks now download as 192 kbps MP3 by default, roughly one-seventh the size of WAV. Encoding runs inside the render worker, so it does not freeze the page. Use Audio Converter if you need lossless WAV.

Other improvements

  • Loudness compensation now applies to previews and full tracks, so quiet styles no longer sound much softer.
  • The waveform now uses a clearer column layout: played bars use the generated track's style accent, unplayed bars use a lighter tint, and the color stays put while you browse other styles. Playback adds a gentle beat pulse.
  • New cowbell, impact, 808 glide, and drive timbres.
  • The All tools menu now shows an icon for Electronic Music Generator.
  • Updates includes a new guide: One image, many formats: a practical multi-ratio crop guide.
  • Chinese and English pages, tool guides, FAQs, and structured data are updated together.
